Calusa Club Village: From Maintenance Contract to Community Partner
Challenge
A large community with aging irrigation infrastructure spread across 14 separate pump areas — and a board that needed one accountable partner instead of separate vendors for maintenance, irrigation and improvements.
Earthy’s approach
Earthy combined recurring community-wide landscape maintenance with a phased capital program: the crews maintaining the property flag issues, and the same company prices and executes the fixes — irrigation rehabilitation, landscape and tree improvements, and custom features.
Work performed
- Community-wide recurring landscape maintenance
- Multi-phase irrigation rehabilitation across 14 pump areas — pumps, controllers, piping, heads and rotors, pressure restoration
- Landscape installation & tree removal
- Custom jasmine trellis feature
Result
Four of 14 pump areas fully rehabilitated to date, with the program continuing in phases. The relationship has grown from a maintenance contract into ongoing capital improvements — maintenance, irrigation and enhancements handled by one accountable contractor. Reference available upon request.
